• Martin had a kickoff meeting with Nakul 🎉

• Non-geo viz:

  • Martin: Extend our schema with vega-lite schema?

    • Since it’s schema-based, maybe we can make it collaborative?

    • Nakul could experiment with integrating

    • Vega-expressions are cool! Much more readable than openlayers style expressions. Can we make vega-expressions the language users speak to express openlayers styles?

  • Use ipydatagrid-like rendering to show color values matching the map in the attribute table!

• Schema problems!

  • Lack of modularity / reusable definitions
